    Small cafe just outside golden gate park. One of my favorite spots to stop for a coffee or bite to eat. Very casual (you'll find lots of people that bike there or are just walking around the neighborhood).

    They have an awesome breakfast burrito as well as tuna melt. Overall just an awesome neighborhood cafe.

    I really wanted to like this place. It had a cute vibe and the menu looked amazing. I ordered vegetarian breakfast sandwich and vegetarian burrito.
    The burrito was yummmm.
    The breakfast sandwich had bacon! I specifically confirmed twice if anything had meat and they assured me no. I took this to go and eat in the golden gate park.
    I am disappointed with the place. Bacon in a vegetarian sandwich!

    My idiot brain is what caused me to finally end up at the Velo Rouge Cafe. First of all, love the name. Second, I was always curious about coming here but never made the time. I had an appointment nearby and accidentally showed up an hour early, so I needed to kill time. Velo Rouge was the perfect place to do it.

    Looks like something pulled out of Haight Ashbury with its decor. I had my coffee already but ordered a breakfast sandwich to go with it as I answered work emails. A little disappointed that WiFi wasn't working but I took it as a sign to disconnect.

    The breakfast sandwich was tasty. There were lots of options and combinations, but the only right answer for the bread is CROISSANT. Fresh and filling, especially for the price. All the baristas are friendly, and the cafe has a family vibe. The baby sitting next to me and staring at the fruit on my plate might have had something to do with it.

    Anyways it's nice to know that there's an option for delicious coffee and hot breakfast near my regular appointment place. They seem to have a steady flow of customers. You can find one of the unique seats inside or chill outside with your dog or I suppose by yourself. Check it out!

    The best scrambled eggs I've ever eaten! The "McAllister scrambled eggs" are a must order. If we visit the city again we will be sure to find a place to stay near here for our daily coffee and brunch!

    Thx sooo much for hosting the HSB after party Fri evening. Se Vice was oh so speedy, and all staff were awesome!!
